As more and more young women want to become slay queens and socialites without fully understanding the true meaning and what it takes to be there, veterans Huddah and Vera want to jump off that band wagon.
In a weird coincidence, the two socialites as they are popularly referred to as, posted on their insta stories that they are no longer happy with the tag and want it dropped immediately.
Tired of the cheap labels they have been accustomed to, they are demanding for more befitting titles like boss queen.
‘’I’m no (expletive) Slay Queen! Never have, Never will be. I’m a Boss queen. I make boss moves & one hella intelligent (expletive).’’ Vera posted.
To emphasize on her dislike for the titles, the expletives drove the point home.
Huddah who owns a makeup line and has other businesses to her name, took a different angle while posing the same sentiment her nemesis was raising.
Taking the words from a wise man she questioned her label with these soul-searching questions.
‘’He asked me… you wanna be a SOCIALITE or a BUSINESS MOGUL? You want to be trending so you are on gossip blogs, gutter press or do business and be on FORBES LIST? …..(a moment of silence).’’ She posted.
Looks like Huddah could be taking the very same words to account after she deleted all her photos and videos from her Instagram account with preference given to her beauty products.
Her rival Vera on the other hand has added vlogger to her many titles.
Could this be the year of a turn around for the two? Only time will tell.
