US rapper G-Eazy was arrested in Stockholm in the early hours of Thursday morning, according to reports.

Following a show, the I Mean It star had been partying at a club in the Swedish capital with girlfriend Halsey and US singer and rapper Sean Kingston when the incident is said to have taken place.

The 28-year-old rapper, real name Gerald Earl Gillum allegedly got into a physical altercation with several security guards after a scuffle broke out.

He was then detained by police who allegedly discovered cocaine in one of his pockets.

A witness told Swedish newspaper Aftonbladet that the scuffle got so bad between the rapper and security they had to “pull him off the dance floor".

Video obtained by TMZ shows him being led into a police car, while a female who is thought to be girlfriend Halsey can be heard yelling about being hit in the face by someone.

TMZ reports that G-Eazy is still currently in police custody.

Sean Kingston had posted a picture with G-Eazy from the club earlier in the night and complimented him on being down to earth.

While a fan who had been partying at the club had filmed the rapper handing out shots to his friends.

Mirror Online has contacted a representative for G-Eazy for comment.
