Citizen TV’s 10 over 10 and Power Breakfast co-host Joey Muthengi is in mourning.
Muthengi and her family are mourning the death of her grandmother who passed away at the ripe age of 108.
Taking to her social media, she described her grandmother as a wise God-fearing woman who mothered a clan into great people.
“#RestInParadise Grandma, thanks for teaching me the ways of the Lord, for loving me, for believing that I could be something extraordinary. Thanks for being the wisest person I ever knew, for mothering a clan of wonderful people. Go with God. Rest now dear susu. We love you #RIPAnna #SusuMbesa #MbaaMuthengim,” wrote Muthengi.
In the final moments before her death, the TV personality shared a photo of the last walk she took with her grandmother Anna.
“Last walk I ever took with susu. #RIP. Anna. 4 generations. Cc @holydavemuthengi Thank you susu,’’ she posted.
Her brother, Holy Dave also took some time to eulogize his grandmother who through her raised a great generation of Muthengis.
“Celebrating the life of the woman who raised the man who raised me. Born in 1910 (108 years old), it's safe to say you lived a full life! You taught dad the and ruthless focus that he passed down to us. See you in heaven Anna Mbuu, aka Susu Mbesa, the Muthengi Family matriarch. Regrann from @joeymuthengi - Last walk I ever took with susu. #RIP. Anna. 4 generations.’’
