Legendary Afro-fusion singer Suzanna Owiyo is counting her lucky stars after she survived a car accident along Lang’ata Road.
The veteran singer was involved in the midnight mishap after a black Range Rover she was in skidded off the road.
Photos from the scene showed the singer accompanied by a police officer inspecting the damage to car after it landed on a ditch.
She escaped unhurt and is yet to issue a statement. The cause of accident remains unclear.
Owiyo remains one of Kenya’s great voices flying the Kenyan flag high in different continents where she travels often to serenade her worldwide fans.
She was among the few artistes who performed for the former United States President Barrack Obama when he came to Kenya in 2015.
