During the pastoralist’s week currently underway in Kajiado County, hawk-eyed Kenyan men noticed one of the participants being interviewed live on KTN.
The caramel-skinned Miss Kajiado, Sation Parmuat’s striking beauty got men asking about her identity.
Speaking to KTN’s Fatiya Mohammed, Parmuat revealed that her involves promoting the Masai culture, arguably one of the most dominant of Kenyan cultures.
“It has been amazing sharing about the Masai people and culture” she stated.
Parmuat also revealed that one of the greatest challenges faced by her community is drought.
“The past year has been so tough because of the drought, but we thank God for the rains” she stated.
According to the beauty queen, her next plan of action is conducting civil education in her community on climate change since “it has affected us in a big way.”
4, 500 participants are expected to take part in the week-long event.
