Award winning female Dj Tabitha Gitere popularly known as DJ Tabz has been admitted to the bar as an Advocate of the High Court.

Basking in the moment at the Supreme Court, a proud Dj Tabz stated that the journey to the bar had been a long time coming. She wrote that it was not easy and she went through a lot to achieve it.

"I can't thank God enough for this far He has brought me and kept me. It's been a long journey with both good and especially many tough times but surely those who wait upon the Lord shall never be put to shame. Thank you Jesus!” wrote Dj Tabz.

In hand to congratulate her was DJ Mo who patted her on the back for a job well done.

I have known her for a very long time and am so proud of the milestones she is making. It is just the beginning. Well in advocate,” posted Mo.

The University of Nairobi alumni joined the Kenya School of Law two years ago and at the time stated that the skills she possessed on the wheels of steel was not all that defined her.

“People think deejays just have the deck skills, forgetting that some have highly educational qualifications. That’s why I’ll be joining the school of law soon to complement my Bachelors of Law degree,” said Tabz.

On being a trailblazer to many, she said that her fans kept her going and was overwhelmed every time at how much they appreciated her work.

“I’m always overwhelmed when lady fans come up to me with stories of how they keep struggling to work in male dominated fields. Better yet, some aspire to become deejays and I always wish them a lot of success, patience and persistence because it’s not easy.”
