Jeff Koinange was the only Kenyan journalist aboard the Emirates plane that the embattled lawyer Miguna Miguna was to be flown to Dubai for re-deportation.
The JKL show host revealed details of his Monday night travel as he captured the drama during Miguna’s forced deportation from inside the said plane.
The journalist disclosed that he was headed to Hamburg Germany where he was going for a mega endorsement deal with a German-based oil company.
Koinange narrated the events of the night on a live reporting, confirming that the flight eventually left albeit two hours late:
“The vocal Self Proclaimed general of the National Resistance Movement (nrmke) refused to get on board the plane. The whole drama delayed the flight for almost 2 hours and eventually we left without the “general” he posted.
The celebrated presenter’s presence on the fateful flight EK-722 raised eyebrows as netizens tried to come to terms with what was merely a coincidence.
The journalist has since arrived in Germany where he has gone to learn about Vivo Energy Kenya’s #VPower.
