Diamond Platnumz was not only in Kenya to launch his new album. A lot more was going on behind the scenes. The singer was joined by American singer Omarion on a charity mission to Texas Cancer Centre on Mbagathi road where they became the latest celebrities to endorse the charity project.
Meanwhile, the Tanzanian star is set to translate the World Cup anthem – Colors – a song that is in Jason Derulo’s upcoming album. The song reflects Coca Cola’s values of optimism and inclusion, and celebrates the vibrancy and excitement of the Fifa World Cup and its role in bringing people together.
While the original version is in English, Coca-Cola is working with Diamond, Uganda’s Budumbu hitmaker, Ykee Benda, and South Africa, Cassper Nyovest, for renditions that will give it an African touch.
