Jamila Mohamed took her viewers and funs by surprise when she announced live on air that she was presenting her last bulletin at the station- Wednesday’s NTV Jioni.
She joined the station in 2002 as a reporter and she was the longest serving news anchor at the Kimathi Street-based media house.
She served as the Managing Editor of QTV Kenya, appointed in 2015, before the station was shut down, She then served as the Manager Programming and Content Development at NTV Kenya until her exit.
Jamila’s exit is coming barely two weeks after NTV’s Managing Editor Linus Kaikai also quit the station.
