Willy Paul has been causing speculations as to whether he is still doing gospel music or he is now a secular artist. However, he maintains that he is a gospel artist despite adopting a suggestive style of music that seems to mean otherwise.
A week ago, the controversial gospel artist left for Tanzania’s Dar es Salaam where he met a number of bongo artists seeking collaborations.
During an interview with a local Tanzanian media outlet, Pozze revealed a list of secular artists that he is going to work with. The list includes bongo hit makers Harmonize, Ben Pol and Tanzanian songstress Vanessa Mdee.
Willy Paul who released his Malingo video two weeks ago also said that he is working with two Jamaican ladies as well as Morgan Heritage.
In another interesting revelation, Pozze said that he looks up to American RnB star Chris Brown as they share musical sense.
“Out of Africa nikimuangalia Chris Brown kwa sababu ukiangalia shows zangu naimba na ninadance pia and he does the same thing (Out of Africa I look up to Chris Brown because our shows are similar;I sing and dance and he does the same thing),” he said in the interview with Dizzim.
