Kenyans share funny childhood experiences growing up with an African mother

Social media platform Twitter users have come up with a funny hashtag on childhood in Africa.

Through the hilarious trend #AfricanMumChallenge, Twitter users chronicled their childhoods, depicting African mothers in a sometimes hilarious light.

As one Salim narrated to the amusement of many, growing up, his bedtime story had only three words, "Nikirudi Nipate Umelala.”
