A bodaboda rider from Mtwapa in Kilifi County who bears a close resemblance to Diamond Platnumz has landed a lucrative deal.
Patrick Gongo Mabeya, who recently made headlines with many terming him as Diamond’s doppelgänger has landed the deal with Car & General Limited.
Mabeya, who was featured by comedian Eric Omondi in telling the Story of Diamond's life in The boy from Tandale Youtube video has signed a one year deal as the brand ambassador of TVS motorcycles.
“I met him in Kilifi two months ago through a friend while I was attending a wedding. His almost identical resemblance to Diamond got my attention and I immediately asked him to help me do the story of Diamond's life” wrote Eric Omondi.
While announcing the good news, Omondi revealed that Mabeya will be flown to Kilifi on 24th for a homecoming party.
Mabeya also took home two TVS motorcycles as part of the deal.
