During the petition against Uhuru Kenyatta’s win in the August 8 General Election, lawyer and Rarieda MP Otiende Amollo was thrust into the public limelight.
Kenyans were impressed by the former Maranda High School student’s brilliance during the court proceedings where they successfully challenged Uhuru’s win, leading to nullification of the results.

Amollo had been personally involved in the construction of decent housing for the poor in his constituency.
