Kim Kardashian's youngest child Saint West has been rushed to hospital after being struck down with pneumonia, it has been reported.
The two-year-old tot was rushed to an LA hospital.
According to TMZ, he is now recovering well after his brief stay. The website added that Kim and husband Kanye West took it in turns to be with the youngster during his three-day stay.
They even remained by his side overnight, splitting parenting duties so the other could be at home with older daughter North West.
Kim made no reference to the family drama on her social media, although she did share a snap of herself holding North with Kanye cuddling Saint on Instagram last Friday.
"Happy holidays," she captioned the Christmassy portrait.
He was missing from the Kardashians' annual Christmas shot, which was dominated by Khloe Kardashian's pregnant baby bump.
Kim joined North, her mum Kris Jenner, sisters Khloe, Kourtney and Kendall, and niece Penelope for the dramatic family picture taken in Kris' hallway between two ornate Christmas trees.
Luckily, Saint's condition was stable enough for Kim and Kanye to ring in the New Year together on Sunday night.
They were filmed on Snapchat giving each other a kiss, with Kim's nearly platinum blonde hair taking centre stage.
Saint turned two just three weeks ago on December 5 and may have suffered from a cold or other infection shortly before his hospital dash.
Pneumonia in toddlers and babies can be very serious and requires urgent medical attention. It can present with vomiting, an upset stomach, headache, weakness and muscle pain, and sufferers could also have trouble breathing.
Symptoms can come on suddenly and may also include a high fever, coughing and rapid breathing.
Meanwhile, the Kardashian-Wests will want to be in fine fettle for when they meet their new little girl later this month.
Kim and Kanye are reportedly expecting a baby daughter through their surrogate - and the mother is due to give birth imminently.
But Kim came under fire for not inviting her surrogate to her baby shower, instead surrounding herself with family and friends and lapping up their congratulations herself.
She later explained her decision to leave the unnamed woman out, admitting she still hadn't told her kids about how they were about to get a new baby sibling.
