A woman in the UK has been jailed for life after she was found guilty of stabbing her ex 36 times after he reportedly met someone new.
According to Daily Record, Hasna Begum, 25, stabbed her ex-boyfriend, Pietro Sanna, 36, after she found out that he was seeing someone else.
Begum reportedly first took to Instagram where she used a fake account to threaten her ex-boyfriend’s new catch, Giulia Consonni.
On the day of the murder, Begum is said to have gone to East London wearing a blonde wig and gloves to where the man lived in order to confront him.
She brutally attacked him before fleeing with his phone in order to delete evidence. Three days later she anonymously tipped the man’s brother days that he was dead.
In her defense, Bagum said she thought she only stabbed Sanna three times and not 36 and that her actions was in self-defense.
Bagum claimed she grabbed Sanna’s phone to prove to him that he was cheating and they got into a fight which ended in the stabbing.
Her behavior before and after the attack however dipped her chances and her claims of self defence was dismissed by the jury.
She was jailed for life.
