Top Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) student Goldalyn Kakuya is undeniably the new celebrity town.
The excited student KCPE champ met President Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy at State House on Friday 24th 2017.
Together with her parents, the pupil from St Anne Junior Lubao in Kakamega County had a tour of the house on the hill.
In her conversation with the President, Goldalyn Kakuya said that now that she had emerged top new opportunities had emerged.
Slightly nervous, she tells the president that although she had picked the high school she wished to attend, more choices had presented themselves now that she was top.
“All the choices are open for you,” Uhuru told the girl as her parents listened.

In confidence the young Goldalyn answers “Yes, I will”. Also in Attendance was nominated Senator Isaac Mwaura who had on Thursday organized celebrations for the girl in Nairobi.
The visit to State House elicited reactions as Kenyans continued with their congratulatory messages to the top KCPE performer.
