Amina Abdi Rabar, of the Alfajiri show on K24, was unveiled on Friday as the new host of the show The Trend that airs every Friday night on NTV that has seen numerous changes since Larry Madowo left the show.
Speaking to Nairobi News, head of television NTV, Justus Tharoa said they wanted Amina to have a feel-good welcome as she joined the team. He added that the show will see a few new fresh looks with the new segments which will be introduced.
The beautiful presenter was unveiled at Nairobi University Chandaria auditorium in front of a live audience because they wanted to make her feel welcome.
The trend has since June been hosted by former Nation FM presenter Ciku Muriuki, HOT 96’s Cindi Ogina, Capital FM's Anita Nderu , Dr. King’ori of The Wicked Edition and Njambi Koikai.
