Naseeb Abdul Juma, popularly known as Diamond Platinumz has admitted that his groundnuts business that he started early this year is his top seller.
In an interview on BBC, Diamond admitted that even though he started other business he is surprised with his groundnut business
The Bongo musician early this year, unveiled his groundnut business on his Instagram handle. The Tanzanian artist launched his new product Diamond Karanga which retails across East Africa at 300 Tanzanian shillings per pack. This will translate to Ksh.14 and Ush. 482.
Apart from music, Diamond earns a living from various businesses. He owns a music empire Wasafi Records,he has a perfume brand called Chibu and is the brand ambassador for various products
He also said in the interview that he ventures into businesses out of music to help employ the youth and also help his family in the future in case he dies or stops making music.
“Of course, Diamond Karanga. Unaweza kuwa mwanamuziki lakini ukaweza kufanya vitu vingine katika misingi bora ukatengeneza ajira kwa wenzako ukatengeneza kitu ambacho hata kesho na kesho kutwa usipoweza kuimba ukaweza kupata riziki na familia yako ikanufaika,” Diamond said.
