5 reasons why your girlfriend refuses to talk about last night

I have a habit of reading texts of people seated next to me on the bus (blame it on their big flashy screens and my lack of things to do). This morning I followed a very interesting conversation.

The guy seated in front of me was asking a girl he hooked up with last night why she didn’t tell him much afterward.

I felt for him and wished he knew how things work. The rule is simple, if she decides not to talk about the night you spent together, she has her reasons.

Here are reasons why your girl refuses to talk about last night

She doesn’t want to disappoint you

Your best may not have been hers. She had expectations which you didn’t meet and she knows if she tells, you will be disappointed. Chances are she is a good person who doesn't want you to beat yourself up about it.

You might judge her

This girl knows you’re going to question how she knows you underperformed. She also knows you will hate to hear she compared you with her past experiences. Do not push or else you'll be disappointed.

She didn’t have fun

She left in a hurry in the morning and refuses to talk about it. She may have had a bad experience and from the whole ordeal and wants to forget about it. Pestering her will only move you further from her.

There is nothing to talk about

You’re hung on talking about last night while she has lots of stuff to do. To her, the intimacy you had is just another side activity. She doesn’t take it as seriously as you do. Look for things to do and move on

She just don’t want to talk

Don’t beat yourself about her silence. She might have had it good but isn’t the kind who goes around telling people what they had for dinner. Not everyone likes to disclose what they find personal, just let her be.

If the guy on the bus had known this, he wouldn’t have beat himself up that bad. After all, some things are better left unsaid.
