A Facebook post by nominated Senator Millicent Omanga has elicited sharp reactions Omanga had on the 25th called on women to please their husbands early to allow them vote She said that she would also have her ‘morning glory’ before voting

A post during the eve of the repeat presidential poll by flamboyant nominated Senator Millicent Omanga has got Kenyans on social media talking.

This is after Senator Omanga cheekily posted a message on the 25th to her over 300,000 followers on Facebook telling women to please their husbands early to allow them to rest before voting on the 26th of October.

“Kina Mama tupee wazee mapema walale mapema, Kesho Asubui Na mapema ni kumira kumira na msupa turudishe Uhuruto ikulu #OmangaCare For UhuRuto,” wrote Omanga.

Her message elicited hundreds of reactions as the followers clashed over her style of getting voters to turn out during the poll.

‘Watupatie mapema tulale’ posted one as naughty comments flooding her page with some followers praising her for articulating their ‘needs’ and urged their wives to heed to the call.

Others, however, read mischief in Omanga’s message and blasted her for cheapening the voting process and the sexual undertone that it carried.

Replying to some, Omanga said that she was at the forefront of the ‘campaign’ and would have her ‘morning glory’ before voting.

“Hehehehe Mzee lazima nimpe kesho mapema ni kumira kumira ta thuraku,” added the Senator.

Here are some of the comments that lit her page over the subject;
