Raila Odinga Jr and DP William Ruto
DP Ruto accused the NASA leader of using his family and supporters to cause violence The DP criticized the move by the former premier to stop the repeat elections Raila’s son took it upon himself to react to Ruto’s statements

The Deputy President and Raila Odinga’s son were involved in argument after the DP accused the NASA leader of using his family and supporters to stop elections.

Using his official Twitter handle, Ruto criticized the protests by NASA against the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) and the October 26th repeat polls alleging that the opposition chief is sponsoring violence through his family and supporters.

Raila Odinga Junior, the youngest son to Hon Raila Odinga, took on the DP saying that even without the Odinga family the October 26th elections would still not take place.

The National Super Alliance (NASA) declared that there will be no elections on Thursday October 26th and instead they will hold a major countrywide demo on the day.

NASA leader Raila Odinga has withdrawn his candidature from the repeat polls saying that the electoral commission is not well placed at the moment to conduct a free and fair election after failing to meet its  ‘irreducible minimums’ demands.

Here are some of the reactions by Kenyans on Twitter as they joijned in on the debate:
