Popular Kenyan comedian DJ Shiti who made his name through popular KTN comedy-drama series The Real Househelps of Kawangware is laughing all the way to the bank after signing a lucrative deal with Startimes.
Even though the new contract, which will see him become the Startimes brand ambassador, hasn’t been made public, grapevine has it that this is one of the best deals a local celebrity has signed this year.
“StarTimes Kenya has appointed Stephen Oduor popularly known as DJ Shiti as the brand ambassador in an effort to further entrench the pay television company in the Kenyan market,” a statement from Startimes read in part.
During the signing of the deal, the comic act was accompanied by the StarTimes Kenya Chief Executive Officer David Zhang.
