About his 2013 loss he said that he lost the 2013 elections to Wesley Korir because he did not campaign in his constituency at the time.

“In 2013 I lost because I was out in the campaign trail campaigning for Uhuru Kenyatta. I was scared Raila might win.”

Kutuny’s message comes a few days after reports that Raila Odinga could be going to London emerged. With Presidential election around the corner this has been a subject of great controversy.
