Popular Ugandan singer turned Member of Parliament Robert Kyagulanyi alias Bobi Wine is a man under siege after his house was hit with explosives.
Bobi Wine took to twitter and revealed that his house had been damaged after unknown people threw explosives into his compound.
For the second time, last night explosives were again thrown at my residence and exploded! No one hurt but property damaged...

The shocking turn of events follows the super star’s vocal outbursts against Uganda’s President Yoweri Museveni.
It reportedly started after Bobi Wine and a group of other MP’s opposed a new bill meant to remove the age limit for the presidency in Uganda.
The self-proclaimed ‘Ghetto president’s’ stand on the issue is said to have ruffled the government the wrong way and was seen as the face of the opposition group against the bill.
Bobi was then subsequently barred from attending media interviews at various media houses in Uganda.
He was interrogated for over 5 hours after he jetted back from New York where he had attended the Global Citizens week.
The frosty relationship of Bobi with the Government comes just days after another rapper’s house was demolished in Tanzania.

Professor Jay’s house was demolished in what the authorities stated was its construction on a road reserve.
Prof Jay however read mischief in the action and stated that the law was not followed.
