Was State House Nakuru overwhelmed by the over 10,000 delegates that attended a meeting presided over by President Uhuru Kenyatta?
That is the question on everyone’s mind after reports emerged that some of the delegates did not manage to have food at the function.
In a video circulating online, one organiser is seen struggling to contain a large number of delegates that were crowding at the serving area.
The individual can be heard calling on them to make a queue so that they can all be served.
The fiasco reportedly started after word went round that food was scarce yet there was a long queue.
Speaking to a local daily, former Kisii Senator Chris Obure denied accusations that he disappeared with the delegates fare and lunch money.
Obure stated that all the delegates were sorted out and the reports were propaganda out to tarnish his name.
The over 10,000 delegates from the two counties had been hosted by President Uhuru Kenyatta.
