Thika Road outbound has been rendered impassable after a road accident involving several vehicles occurred near Garden Estate and Mountain Mall.
According to officials seven people are confirmed dead and several others injured. Police, good Samaritans and well-wishers are on the scene while rescue services are trying to make their way to the accident scene due to the traffic.
Those using the road have been advised to avoid it if possible or wait it out till the scene is cleared
