Why Kenyan men find subduing a female cop sexually thrilling

Men find subduing a female cop thrilling
For men, the idea of sexually subduing a woman in a position of authority is thrilling It is not about love, but sex. The uniform gives a woman power Often, male civilians fall for female cops because they are risk takers and smart

It is often believed that the sight of a gun held by an officer in uniform gets men quivering in fear, while turning on women.

The sense of security and power wielded by men in uniform has always attracted women.

Male civilians too are turned on by women in uniform - nurses, doctors, flight attendants, waitresses and those in the disciplined forces have particular attraction for men with a fetish for playing around with ‘fire.’

Felister Mueni, a cop in Nairobi is married to a medical practitioner, but it took her husband had to use a middleman to get to her. “He was attracted to me but at the same time afraid of approaching me,” reveals Mueni.

In their ten-year marriage with two children, they have never clashed. “I am a polite, submissive wife in the house, but also one who is ready to face any issue head on. I would discourage marriage between comrades and especially amongst cops. It is boring, shaky and full of disrespect,” she adds.

Emma Brenda Wanjiru , who is arguably one of the prettiest and fashion conscious female officers in the National Police Service, says that although men are attracted to women in uniform, their motivation is dubious.

“It is not about love, but sex. The uniform gives a woman power, and for men, the idea of sexually subduing a woman in a position of authority is thrilling. For others, it is a fetish for kinky sex.

You will be amazed at the things some men inbox me on social media,” she says. The officer also says she knows men who are attracted to police women but are afraid to date them because of the perception that cops are “hard-headed”.

“While I would rather date a civilian, the reality is that relationships in the force work best when you date a fellow officer, preferably one who of a senior rank.

The nature of our jobs requires us to be authoritative, something most husbands have a problem with,” says officer Wanjiru.

Even for civilians, female officers are perceived as big-headed and bossy, but Geoffrey Kiarie, a businessman in Murang’a married one three years ago and now says that his Administration Police wife is not only humble, but a pillar of his family “who can weigh challenges we can deal with and those we can’t weather.”

James Mbugua, a counselling psychologist and lecturer at Mount Kenya University, says that while female civilians want male cops because of the sense of authority, provision and security they exude, male civilians fall for female cops because they are risk takers and smart.

“Such a woman knows her way in life. To venture into dangerous places at night or being in the battlefront indicates they are ready to take risks or control,” explains Mbugua, adding that, “It is true today’s man is interested in a risk taker and a woman who can deal with difficult circumstances head on.

That is why female cops are appealing as they are perceived to be better managers as opposed to the average woman.”

Robert Burale, an image consultant says men are attracted to organised and disciplined women and this is a trait largely found in police officers.

“The uniform oozes confidence and organisational skills that a man would want in a wife after fun and outings with skimpily-dressed women,” claims Burale.
