As the dreaded date for the polythene bag ban draws closer, creative Kenyans online are already sampling out the alternative.
In effect, Kenyans are starting to realize that the government is dead serious on the ban and might not push the date forward considering that similar attempts were made in 2007 and 2011.
A quick glance on social brought out the variety of options out there that can fill the humongous void that had been solely occupied by plastic bags.

According to the Environment Manufacturers and Co-ordination Act general penalty, those found culpable will serve a term no shorter than one year or a fine of no less than Sh2 million.
