Remember when Caroline Wanjiku made her debut on Churchill show? Back then, not many would have projected the rise of her comedy career from a simple shrubbing teacher to a popular comedy brand. Fast forward and the comedienne has done well for herself both in the public and private realms of her Life.
After her career shot up, Teacher Wanjiku opted for some time out from the Churchill show so that she could concentrate on mother hood as well as her solo career. During this time, she also took the chance at starting her own comedy show but the poor show rating could not keep her onscreen for long.
Fast forward to her current situation and Teacher Wanjiku is back with a party of girls who promise to crack their audience’s ribs courtesy of their upcoming show dubbed "Girls are also funny" which is set to be held this Friday at the Kenya National Theatre.
Teacher Wanjiku is set to be the host as her fellow comediennes also take turns to entertain the crowd.
"When we say #GirlsAreAlsoFunny we are very comically correct coz it means that comedy is not just the preserve of one gender' Teacher Wanjiku said.
With the show having been postponed before, we can only wait to see how it turns out.
