Deputy President William Ruto’s son Nick Ruto seems to be following in the footsteps of his father politically. Nick landed in a chopper at the Soweto grounds in Embakasi to drum up support for his friend and fellow youth Francis Mureithi for Embakasi East Jubilee MP’s ticket.
Nick, a soft-spoken youth took many by surprise when he landed with gospel musician Bahati and Francis Mureithi at the Soweto Slum
“We are here today to support our good, able and young friend Francis Mureithi for Embakasi East parliamentary seat” said Nick amid cheers from the crowd who seemed to love him.
Nick could be seen mingling with the ghetto youth with ease and promised them to go back to Soweto only if they elect the youthful aspirant.
Apart from Nick, others who threw their weight behind Francis Mureithi is Award winning gospel artiste Bahati, Ben Githae among others.
On his hand, Mureithi promised to fight mungiki menace in the area, if elected.
