Kakamega senator Boni Khalwale found himself on the receiving end concerning the picture he posted on social media. The Kakamega legislature posted a photo of him resting on the bed and said that he was waiting for a scheduled meeting that was to take place at 2 pm.“Finally checked in my Hotel waiting for our meeting to begin at 2 pm,” read the message on twitter.According to many Boni Khalwale did not disclose which meeting he was going to have and why to post a photo of him relaxing on the bed! To many, they interpreted it differently maybe far from what Khalwale meant.A good number of people condemned him saying that it was wrong for a leader of his caliber to post such a photo.“A full senator posting bed & room pictures!! Who underwent the pain of being your D.O.P? Umejiangusha mbaya!!,” wrote Dedan Mwaura.“Honestly, mambo ya kupost vitanda tuwachie teenagers. Point of order honorable this is being out of order and dishonorable,” said Elijah Waweru?.Some questioned him who probably took the picture and if it is a man what was he doing with him in such a room?“If it's a man who took this pic, why would a fellow man do that to another man in a hotel room?? If it's a woman, ni nani?” asked Zulekha.Others guessed that probably it was a campus girl who took the photo because the flowers placed on the bed could only be placed there by a woman who was in love with Khalwale.“Tell the campus gal taking the photos that the strike ended and lectures resumed,” said Rocher Kelvin?.Additionally, some people have advised him to pull out the post because if his wife saw it, it won’t be well with him. Probably it could jeopardise his marriage. Was it wrong for Khalwale to post such a photo? However, some have came to his defense saying it was not wrong to post such a picture. They said that the senator was being misinterpreted.
