Bien Aime disses American singing group Soul For Real over performance

Of late, the Sauti Sol member has not been mincing his words telling it like it is. His latest victims are none other than American all-male group Soul For Real.

The quartet failed to deliver, lip-synching to their songs, in turn, working up the crowd who booed them off the stage less than an hour into their performance. It comes as no surprise considering tickets were retailing at Ksh 5,000.

The anticipated concert which took place at Carnivore last Friday was luckily rescued by Dj Pinye and Dj Adrian who kept it 90’s all the way. But the embarrassment did not go unnoticed.

‘’So yesterday a bunch of people paid ksh 5000 to go watch #SoulNotforreal. As consolation tonight SautisolforReal is gonna be bringing the house down and with a live band. Come to Baricho road and ay ksh600 to watch the best band in Africa. It will cleanse you of all that lip-synch and playback excuse of a show. See you there.’’ Bien unapologetically posted on his social media a day after the disappointing concert.

‘’Much love to everyone who came to break bread and music with us on Saturday. The situation will be televised.’’ Bien posted after the successful concert they held on Saturday.

Looks like age could have caught up with the American artists who were once a hit in the 90’s.

The R&B group is made of four brothers, Christopher Sherman Dalyrimple aka Choc, Andre "Dre" Lamont Dalyrimple aka KD, Brian "Bri" Augustus Dalyrimple and Jason "Jase" Oliver Dalyrimple aka Jase4real.

They rose to popularity with their hit songs ‘Candy Rain’ and ‘Every Little Thing I Do’ off their platinum-selling album Candy Rain.
