Singer Otile Brown has revealed that he spent a fortune to make his recent track “Niseme Nawe” featuring Barakah Da Prince from Tanzania.
Otile keen on carving a niche for himself in regards to Kenyan music got a shot in the arm from his recording label which came on board and helped offset some of the costs which spun over Kshs. 300,000.
‘’The project cost upwards of sh 300,000 not including airfare and accommodation expenses for Barakah. It was an expensive project because we shot the video in Limuru in a very fancy mansion where they normally do not allow people to do videos.’’ Otile revealed.
With previous hits like “Alivyonipenda” and “Pakate” the star whose sultry voice blends in with the bongo genre admits that it has not been easy to get that far in music.
For “Niseme nawe”, which is part of his “Vuka boarder” project, Otile admits that the collaboration was an expensive venture for him and in a bid to make the collaboration a success.
