2016 has seen many relationships culminate into lifetime unions. With weddings happening almost every Saturday, grooms have found their queens and brides have lived up to their fairytale weddings. While some were private affairs, others went all out in a bid to make their day auspicious.

Here are some of the celebrity weddings that kept people talking:

Bob Collymore and Wambui Kamiru

On the same day, as if by coincidence, Safaricom CEO Bob Collymore wed the love of his life Wambui Kamiru in an exclusive wedding whose details had been kept under wraps up until social media spill the secret. Quite minimalistic, the couple exchanged vows in an intimate ceremony with little hullabaloo to it.

Eunice Njeri  and Isaac Bukasa

Lofty Matambo weds Mary Mutete

Fluent in Swahili, KTN’s renowned reporter Lofty Matambo wed Mary Mutete in a cultural themed wedding in Kilifi. Quite the groom, Lofty was all dressed up in golden sultan attire while his lady stunned in a queen’s regalia.

Nyota Ndogo weds Henning Nielsen

Quite the songstress, Nyota Ndogo wed her Danish fiancé Henning Nielsen down at the coast. While it was her big day, fans felt the need to talk about her make-up, wedding dress and choice of fiancé but as she clapped back at her critics saying that as long as she was happy, that is what mattered.
