“Whats wrong with these millennials, Willy Paul has just walked out of our Radio Interview claiming that hes needed somewhere else urgently,” Gidi Ogidi lamented on twitter regarding a live radio interview scheduled for Size 8 and Willy Paul.
The duo whose latest song, Tiga Wana, has received lots of mixed reaction were booked to appear at the interview in the morning show hosted by Gidi.
Now, Willy Paul has come out to explain that his storming out of the interview was as a result of a miscommunication between him and the show’s producer.
Message screenshots sent to Mseto revealed that Willy Paul had indicated to the producer that they would be there for 30 minutes starting 7am as they had a commitment elsewhere, to which the producer agreed.
However, on the day of the interview, they arrived in good time but were kept waiting.
“I'd like to bring to your attention that I did not walk out of Radio jambo... am tired of people using my name for their selfish interests and now I kindly ask Radio jambo to apologise and tell Kenyans the truth,” he wrote in a post on Instagram accompanied by a screenshot of the message sent to the Radio Jambo producer.
The issue has since been resolved with Gidi taking to twitter to clarify on the same. "We have resolved the issue with Willy Paul and Size 8 and apologies accepted.
I wish them all the best in their music career".
