A host of Premier League stars joined sprinter Usain Bolt for the premiere of a new documentary film about the life of the iconic Jamaican sprinter.

'I Am Bolt' debuted at the ODEON in Leicester Square last night, with the likes of Raheem Sterling , Olivier Giroud, Cesc Fabregas, Hector Bellerin, Santi Cazorla and Robert Pires in attendance.

Bolt's friend Mo Farah , who was last night included in the 16-strong shortlist for the BBC Sports Personality of the Year award was also at the event, as was comedian Jimmy Carr and pop star Justin Bieber, as sports stars mixed with television, film and music stars.

The film offers an in-depth look at the 100m and 200m world record holder's career, right up to the historic 'Triple-Triple' he won at the Rio Olympics.

It has been made by Benjamin Turner and Gabe Turner, who directed the 'Class of 92' documentary about the Manchester United youth side that featured the likes of David Beckham, Paul Scholes and Nicky Butt.

Fellow sporting icons Pele, Serena Williams, Neymar and Seb Coe feature in the film, alongside Ziggy Marley and hip hop legend Nas.

Footage from the Beijing World Championships, Rio Olympics and London Olympics features in the film, along with video from Bolt's youth and interviews with family members, friends and coach.

"I could feel all emotions throughout everything, like I was reliving my life again when I was watching that," he said of the film.

"That's what I wanted people to see, the struggles, the pain, the triumph, the stress that I've been through and then have more insight also on my life."

Bolt plans to retire from athletics after the world championships in London next year.
