We like to give them crass labels like ‘trophy wives, gold diggers, sugar babes’ and ‘opportunists.’

These are women who prey on loaded men and do so without guilt or shame.

But I look at them differently. I think they are visionaries who are simply ambitious, which is not a bad thing. As difficult as life can be, there is nothing to be ashamed of in ensuring a little financial security before you give away your heart.

Let’s face it, all women, deep down, wish they had wealthy men worshipping at their feet and asking for their hand in marriage.

Unfortunately, snagging yourself a rich gentleman is not as easy as they make it look. It takes a lot of effort.

One of the perks of being an opulent man is having an array of women to pick from, so you have to make sure that you stand out from the crowd.

Follow these tips and you will be well on your way to walking down the aisle with someone with means.

Work on your looks!

Like I’ve pointed out, moneyed men have more selection and tend to gravitate towards stunning, glamorous women.

Make a point of making sure that you are your ultimate well-groomed and polished when on the hunt for a wealthy man. You are going to have to be fit, perfectly coiffed, nails done, teeth white, hips wide, and waistline tiny.

Ensure you are as fit as you can be by eating healthy and maintaining a workout regime to make some solid first impressions. Don’t dress like a bimbo in ridiculously short skirts and spiked heels. Instead, strive to dress classy and elegant.

Be where the rich are

The most crucial part about dating affluent men is knowing where to look for them. People tend to pair up with other people who roam their environment.

It feels more comfortable to ask someone out on a date if he or she is a familiar face and you have had casual conversations with them before.

Filthy rich men are not your average guy-next-door, whom you can bump into at the coffee shop or supermarket.

You can find then at upscale pubs, premium golf clubs, swanky sport bars, luxury resorts etc. Of course you’ll need money to get into these places, but you can get around that obstacle by applying for a job there.

Be sophisticated

Some women are just unrefined and trashy and no rich man would want to be associated with them. Strive to have refined taste and manners and a good education. Have a developed interest in music, art and literature.

You must have an interesting and amazing personality that glows through you.

Rich guys are aware of the effect their material possessions have on women and can see right through any façade, so be careful how you approach them.

Be your own person

Most women mess up in this game by letting their lives revolve around the man. Once they start going out with such a guy, they get so hell-bent on trying to be the perfect partner that they lose themselves in the process.

You should continue pursuing your dreams and having a social life separate from the man you are dating. Focus on what you want to do. Show him you have so much more going on in your life.

You’ll come across as very intriguing and he will definitely want to keep you around.
