2016 has been a good year for African Musicians and even more so for Nigerian artistes. Patoranking held a private listening party in Nairobi for a selected few media personalities and fans who got the exclusive listen of his much anticipated album.
God Over Everything abbreviated as #GOE is his debut studio album boasting 16 tracks, featuring collaborations with bigwigs such as Konshens, Wizkid, Olamide, Elephant man, Sarkodie and Phyno. He has been very unafraid to veer off the Nigerian sound and create his own identity which has set him apart and cut him out for larger markets. He has also done a collaboration with Khuli Chana which received massive airplay all over Africa.
Hours after releasing the album on itunes it took the number one spot. He claims the album is created for people of all ages because he pays homage to his roots and hopes that all his fans enjoy it. His biggest hit in Africa yet remains My Woman My Everything released in 2015 featuring Wande Coal followed closely by Daniella Whine.
The Girlie-O” singer is currently on his African Media tour also hoping to collaborate with a number of East African artistes that he is yet to reveal.
