Top Kiss FM presenter Kalekye Mumo got fired this week with the youthful Adelle Onyango taking up her morning radio show slot.
The prolific presenter who has been running the show with Shaffie Weru for quite some time now got the shocking news early this week before Adelle, who has been running a different show at the station, got elevated.
Sources at the uptown radio station told Pulse that the station wanted a more youthful person to run the show adding that that is why they settled for Adelle.
However, other sources alleged that Kalekye was not in very good terms with one of the bosses and this could have engineered her firing.
Speaking to Adelle, the popular presenter said she was up to the task.
"The show is different from what I used to do but it is a challenge all my years of experience have prepared me for. I am not under any pressure, not at all. My fans and I are ready for greater possibilities," Adelle told Pulse.
