After missing an admission to Daystar University early this year, gospel singer Bahati says he is almost getting there.
Speaking to Pulse this week, Bahati said he has been consulting with the campus to get advice on how best to balance his music career and school life.
“I did not want to get started and stop along the way because of making uninformed decisions. That is what has kept me waiting a bit but, yes, I’m going to Daystar University.”
Meanwhile, after writing an open letter to the president on the plight of cancer affected children at the Kenyatta National Hospital, the singer has come out defending himself against haters who claimed he simply wanted to grab media attention.
“It does not matter what they say, I am serving my noble duty as a citizen of this country. I was addressing a very serious issue and I don’t wish to address people who simply want to make a joke out of every good effort made,” Bahati told Pulse.
The singer who recently returned from a three-week holiday in USA said the issue affecting the Kenyatta Hospital children cancer wing needed urgent attention as children had been dying there with no treatment given to them.
