Kenya is at war because of AG rules regulating the church

News

A critical reassessment on the presidential advisers becomes more necessary now than ever before. I would say that things aren’t looking good and now it is high time God intervenes.

Christian Churches mostly Pentecostals and Evangelical held fervent prayers for the President, his government and those who rule with him. Prayers for the nation used to be said each Sunday and at any gathering.

Then one morning, news streamed in that the Attorney General (AG) Githu Muigai has formulated laws, rules and regulations that adversely affected the Clergy. Some were threatened with jail terms if found preaching without Divinity and Theological Degrees. Advocating for people to be saved on TV and Radio was outlawed. Certificates of Good conduct were demanded from all preachers and hefty fines were to be imposed on the Clergy when caught not satisfying the AG’s rules.

All of a sudden, these preachers, pastors and the entire clergy stopped praying for the nation, the president and his government and started praying for themselves against the jail threats, the fines proposed and all those regulations that would have affected their preaching.

Immediately they stopped their intercessory roles, Kenya became exposed to her enemies. It was left naked like Noah when he became drunk. That nakedness of Noah was to bring tragedy to his son Ham who saw his nakedness.

Over 100 Kenya Defence forces (KDF) soldiers were killed in Somalia, Waiguru’s alleged corruption scandal emerged and as ugly as it is, it is threatening the government's survival.

Also, hostility against DP William Ruto became intense in his Rift Valley backyard.

alShaabab are threatening to turn Kenya red with blood, a threat that shouldn't be ignored given the fact that the men and women of God are now busy praying for themselves thus leaving the country naked.

The Clergy need an urgent meeting with the President so that he assures them that the said draconian rules and regulations will be removed.

At least he told this to the few that he met but a larger group needs that assurance in the same presence. It is faith that holds together a nation in any part of the world. We cannot let the politics define the Church of God. The body of Christ is regulated by only God and the Bible.

Otherwise, if the Levites cannot go back to the Altars up their mountains and resume their intercessory prayers, the country is precariously hanging in grave danger. This is serious.
