A man wanted by police for allegedly inciting ethnic violence late last December has surfaced. Joseph Kebenei alias Toltol told The Standard yesterday that his life is in danger.
Kebeni, who is accused of masterminding the violence at Olposirmoru on the border between Narok and Nakuru counties that left two people dead, said he is innocent. Interior Cabinet Secretary Joseph Nkaissery implicated Kebenei in the skirmishes that erupted on New Year’s eve and described him as “a wanted man”.
But yesterday, Kebenei denied he had gone into hiding and said he has all along been living with his nine wives and 32 children in Narok.
