A Mombasa businessman has bought 500 tickets for the now sold-out and much-anticipated Valentine’s Day weekend Churchill show taking place in Mombasa. A ticket was going for Sh2,000.
“I was pleasantly shocked when a businessman called and asked to buy 500 VIP tickets. At first, I thought he was kidding. I only believed him after he paid for them,” Churchill told Pulse.
“The Bahari ya Vicheko show has been received well in the Coast and we have already sold the tickets out. This is one of the events that I, as a comedian, have highly anticipated. The expectation among fans is very high and I can promise, it will be worth the while,” he told us.
Over 100 Churchill Live staff members left Nairobi on Wednesday to set logistics ahead of the big show slated for Flamingo Beach Hotel in Shanzu tonight.
“This will be the official show that ushers in the Valentine’s Day mood. The last time we had a show in Mombasa, we could not contain the numbers. This time round, we have more comedians on board and fans should get ready for a thrill,” said Churchill.
