Video: Jumapili
Artiste: Daddy Owen
Videography: Mhando Brian (Onfon Productions)
Audio: Bizzy B
Rating: 6/10
The video blows hot and cold. It feels like there are too many themes riding through it. Clear and colourful, with great outdoor scenes, the director should have stuck to scenes that had the Vanity artiste as a modern-day, gown-wearing prophet, as the concept is more unique.
Daddy Owen on top of a battered jeep preaching to a crowd was perfect, so were his other scenes visiting the sick and mentoring kids. The editing was done well and the scenes are captured in sync though. The audio of the song is catchy and the Kwaito-like sound makes the song groovy.
As always, Daddy Owen delivers, with his message clear. In addition, background vocals from himself, a choir and other artistes including a distinct female voice that makes the song nice to listen to. The audio will push the popularity of the video
