Holy Ties: Controversial singer Mustafa reveals he is dating a gospel musician

If any celebrity could narrate the pains and tribulations involved in public relationship break ups that would be Colonel Mustafa whose relationship with fellow singer Marya blossomed and crashed right as their fans watched.

Having risen to become an acclaimed celebrity couple years back, Colonel had discovered Marya’s talent and went ahead to teach her the ropes within showbiz. Together they seemed perfect. Theirs was the kind of relationship that would have translated to marriage, up till religious differences came in the way.

“Marya and I had everything going on great, but our religious difference brought a bone of contention that was difficult to settle. Sadly, we had to find what worked for us.” Mustafa had said.

Fast forward to his recent interview on local radio, and Mustafa admitted that he was now in a new relationship, with a gospel musician.

“I am in a relationship. And yes! She sings gospel music. But I cannot mention her name.” Mustafa said.

Despite being pushed to reveal her identity, Mustafa refused claiming that she would be stolen from him.

“I cannot mention her name because she will be stolen. People will her name and start looking for her like they have done before. She is mine and I will keep her as private as possible,” the Dodoma Singida hit maker said.
