Lamar Odom has reportedly managed to leave his hospital bed with the help of a wheelchair as he continues to recover following his collapse in a Las Vegas brothel.
The former NBA star is said to be "slowly making progress" and has managed to briefly speak to ex wife Khloe Kardashian, saying "Hey baby" and "Good morning".
A source told E! News: "Lamar is slowly making progress. Today has been a good day," adding: "There's a lot of praying going on."
The 35-year-old former basketball star is also reportedly beginning to communicate using hand signals, is able to breathe on his own without a ventilator, and has passed a swallow test.
E! News added the star is "not out of the woods" and there is "always the possibility for setbacks".
A source told Entertainment Tonight that while Lamar was helped out of his hospital bed, he is still "very weak".
Khloe's mother Kris Jenner spoke about the improvements in the former athlete's condition in a post to Instagram, writing: "Come on Lamar!!!! You are such a champion... i know you got this... #ourfighter #pleasepray #love #thatsmileiseverything."
