Students from universities in the country will have their computers upgraded with the latest Microsoft operating system, Windows 10, for free.
This comes after computer software giant’s Microsoft embarked on an initiative that will ensure students get authentic software. Student from United States International University (USIU), Kenyatta University (KU), Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT), University of Nairobi (UoN), Daystar and Catholic University of Eastern Africa have already benefited.
Speaking to Campus Vibe, Collins Langat of Kenya College of Accountancy (KCA)University said: “We want fellow students to enjoy the system because it is free and authentic.” More than 300 computers have already been upgraded in the past week.
