Hot on the heels of their whirlwind international nominations, the Sauti Sol boys are back with a club banger.
Shake Yo Bam Bam is a mashup of different music influences, comprising of the distinctive Diwali Riddim; for those who remember Lumidee’s Never Leave You, TOK's Galang Gal, Sean Paul's Get Busy, combined with Awilo Longomba’s Coupe Libamba.
Despite these very strong influences, the boys infuse their own style the only way they know how, giving it a total Kenyan feel. The result we have to say is spectacular.
The song is the fifth single and music video off Sauti Sol’s upcoming third album: LIVE AND DIE IN AFRIKA, set for release in 2015. The music video of SHAKE YO BAM BAM was shot in Nairobi by legendary Nigerian video director Clarence Peters, in a series of upcoming collaboration videos with Sauti Sol.
