And it was worth waiting for, as the star was snapped last night showing off her growing baby bump in a skintight black maxi dress for the family dinner.
With her world famous derriere on full display, balanced this time by her ever-growing bump, the star took centre stage as she stood next to both Kris and Caitlyn outside Nobu Restaurant in Malibu.
Holding her back, Kim was the perfect pregnant beauty as she added strappy black heels and showed off her toned legs and figure.
How tight can that maternity wardrobe go?
It's hardly the first of its kind, as Kim has ensured she's had every stage of her second pregnancy documented as well as the first - with another stream of figure-hugging dresses.
And what better event than her little sister Kylie's 18th to top the lot?
Kris and Caitlyn Jenner were forced to put any differences they might have aside when they came together for Kylie Jenner's 18th birthday celebrations.
The whole family got together to celebrate Kylie turning one year older and it wasn't long before the selfies were in full flow.
Kim, who has been one of Caitlyn's biggest supporters through her transition, shared a stream of photos from the night.
One shot sees her posing with mum Kris and Caitlyn, who were married for 20 years before splitting at the end of 2013.
It's the first time they've been seen in public together since Caitlyn's transition into a woman and the Vanity Fair article where Caitlyn said "a lot of times she [Kris] wasn't very nice".
Naturally, Kim is pouting into camera while Caitlyn, who looked glamorous in a black dress, can be seen sporting a big grin.
Kim also shared another picture of Caitlyn alongside the caption "the great Cait", as well as plenty of snaps of her sisters.
Khloe also took to Twitter to wish her sister a happy birthday next to a picture of a glam-looking Kylie, who was seen shopping for cars with boyfriend Tyga earlier in the day, sitting in front of a huge cake.
"The festivities are just beginning!! My baby girl is going to be 18!!! I'm legit going to cry. I love you Ky!" she wrote.
Kylie turns 18 on Monday and she's got a whole weekend's worth of celebrations lined up, including a night at Canada's notorious party spot Beachclub Montreal.
