The suicide letter that student leader Babu Owino had allegedly signed has bore fruit. This is after 200 students from Nairobi University were confirmed to attend Obama's function at the Safaricom stadium at Moi Sports Centre Kasarani on Sunday.
An excited Babu Owino showed off his invitation card evidence enough that his request had been answered. he has been invited to State House for the dinner with President Uhuru and Obama.
Last week UoN comrades had received backlash from Kenyatta University students who allegedly ridiculed them after Obama chose to visit KU.

The social media was awash with comments and exchange of words between the learned comrades as it became clear that President Obama had blatantly snubbed The University of Nairobi who had written to him through their student leader, Babu Owino. Consequently, UoN students had felt that they had feel openly been let down by President Obama’s move.
The suicide letter read in part, “So far, 18 UoN students have threatened to commit suicide if President Obama doesn’t visit UoN. Also, 31 female students have threatened to urinate on the tree president Obama planted in 2006 should he not visit the UoN. Male students may do worse. This will be catastrophic, calamitious and cataclysmic. God forbid.”
